Which services can you direct bill for?
Physio, RMT, Chiro, Acupuncture: usually eligible with most extended health plans.
Kinesiology: often not covered by extended health; sometimes covered in special programs/ICBC active rehab.
Clinical Counseling (RCC): varies by plan.
ICBC (Car Accident Claims)
If you’ve been in a motor vehicle accident, ICBC may cover your treatment costs. At Phoenix Rehab, we direct bill ICBC so you don’t have to pay out-of-pocket for approved sessions.
What’s covered: Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy (RMT), Chiropractic, Kinesiology (Active Rehab), Counseling and Acupuncture.
What to bring: Your ICBC claim number and date of your accident, and photo ID.

WorkSafeBC (Workplace Injuries)
If you’ve been injured at work, WorkSafeBC may cover your rehabilitation costs. We can help with recovery and return-to-work planning.
What’s covered: Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy (RMT) and Acupuncture are most commonly approved.
What to bring: Your WorkSafeBC claim number and employer information.

MSP (Medical Services Plan of BC)
The BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) provides partial coverage for some patients on premium assistance. While coverage is limited, you may be eligible for reduced rates on certain visits.
What’s covered: A limited number of visits per year for Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, and Acupuncture, if you qualify.
What to bring: Your BC Services Card (CareCard).
